Submitting artworks
How to submit art on VAT: To exhibit art on VAT users must have an artist membership. As members artists submit artworks on the Add New Artwork page located within their Your VAT pages. The system is easy to use and understand, with helpful hints and advice to help artists load their artworks online quickly and efficiently.
Who and what is eligible to exhibit on VAT: All genres, mediums and styles are welcome as well as both professional and amateur artists. With an egalitarian selection policy, consumer demand and membership fees play an important role in up holding the quality and integrity of the VAT artist community.
Who and what is not eligible to exhibit on VAT: The website is designed to operate in the public domain and as such artists are forbidden from displaying artworks online that contradict the terms and conditions of membership e.g. Artworks containing full or frontal nudity may be permitted but must not be pornographic. Extreme gore or any other artwork that may be considered adult/mature/offensive in nature can also be blocked. Borderline subject material that is not specifically mentioned above may also be removed. In addition to VAT's regular monitoring of content users are able to report any artwork that they find obscene. Visual Art Trader will take the necessary actions; this could be the removal of the artwork and ultimately the artist. We reserve the right to modify/delete any artwork posted to our website.
